July 4th Broadway-Style— The Area's Biggest July 4th Celebration!

Do you love the fun and excitement of a great July 4th celebration? The thrill of a dazzling fireworks display? If music, entertainment and fireworks are your thing, head to Broadway at the Beach. Starting Friday, there will be so much to experience that we're betting you'll want to return every day through the 4th.

Broadway at the Beach has been home to Myrtle Beach's biggest Independence Day celebration for more than 20 years. This year, the party starts on July 1 as all the performers from Broadway's annual Summer Nights Entertainment Series deliver their signature brands of music, comedy and more positioned in several areas throughout the complex. The evening wraps up with an explosion of colorful fireworks over beautiful Lake Broadway at 10 p.m.

Myrtle Beach is known for its great beach, and that's where most people spend our bright, sunny days. But at night, after sunning and splashing in the cool waves, those in the know head for Broadway in the late afternoons and evenings where free entertainment and more than 100 shops and attractions offer something for all members of the family.

On this special weekend, Broadway will be the place to see and be seen. On Saturday and Sunday, our more than 20 restaurants and eateries will be serving all kinds of good eats. It's the perfect place to hang out with family and friends and enjoy the musicians, jugglers and stilt walkers. Looking for ways to entertain the kids? They're sure to get caught up in the fun of getting their faces painted and interacting with characters dressed like superheroes and princesses.

On Sunday night, the Army Ground Forces Concert Band performs a free concert starting at 7 p.m. in Center Court. You can expect to get in a patriotic mood when you hear these awesome musicians!

When the big day arrives on Monday, this jam-packed long weekend of fun will continue with the Croissants Cupcake Eating Competition from 2 to 4 p.m. in Heroes Harbor. Have a few laughs and watch challengers as they consume delicious cupcakes in pursuit of a record win.

The weekend moves toward its spectacular conclusion with another free concert on Monday night. This time, the U.S. Air Force steps up with its Blue Aces Band. They take the Heroes Harbor stage at 8 p.m.

And after the concert, the skies will light up with a Star-Spangled Fireworks Spectacular over Lake Broadway at 10 p.m.

It's a July 4th weekend Broadway-style and it's a weekend at Broadway at the Beach you don't miss!
