Back in 2012, childhood friends, Rob Robbins and Shane Stanger, left their careers to follow their true passion: to open a restaurant concept together. Rob’s favorite dessert growing up was ice cream sandwiches. So after much deliberation, they decided to move forward with a cookie and ice cream shop where they would specialize in putting them together to make custom ice cream sandwiches, thus The Baked Bear was born.
The Baked Bear has expanded to many stores across the country, including one of their newest, right here at Broadway at the Beach!
The Baked Bear offers over a dozen baked from scratch original-recipe cookies and ice cream flavors, giving guests a chance to mix and match cookies or brownies, while choosing their favorite ice cream in the middle. In addition, there are 2 cookie of the month flavors that are always changing and a seasonal rotating ice cream flavor.
