The “Unofficial” Summer Ending Begins With Coastal Uncorked At Broadway

The hot summer sizzle will soon give way to cooler temperatures, fall flannels, football game days and pumpkin flavored everything! And although we don't "officially" close the chapter on summer 2017 for a few more weeks, we still have a few more pages to fill this Labor Day weekend at Broadway at the Beach!

From Friday through Sunday, you can unwind from a busy Summer at the annual Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine & Spirits Festival. With great entertainment and some of the best dishes from local culinary creationists and delicious drinks, this event is one of the most-anticipated festivals in the Palmetto State!

This year's festival will be held on the 21st Avenue side of Broadway at the Beach, adjacent to Pavilion Park Central. It kicks off on Friday at 6 p.m. with the popular and sweetly delicious "Chocolate Under The Moon" event. Enjoy decadent desserts and a competition of local bartenders participating in a mixology challenge concocting their own special moonshine cocktails for ticket holders to sample. Enjoy something sweet to eat all while casting your vote for the best moonshine mixologist in all of Myrtle Beach.

The next day, check out the Brews 'N the Beach Craft Beer Event from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sample specialty craft beers from all over the country in your own souvenir tasting glass, while listening to live music from Paul Grimshaw and devouring more delicious foods.

Closing out the festival weekend will be Sunday's Grand Wine Tasting event. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., where you can go from table to table with your own souvenir wine glass, sampling a variety of wines and foods! For more information on Coastal Uncorked including ticket prices, click here.

Following the festival, head into Broadway where we will close out the 2017 Summer Nights entertainment series as we light up the sky with the last Fireworks Extravangaza of the season sponsored by Helicopter Adventures at 10 p.m.!

So as we know that all good things must come to an end, we'll say so long to another great summer this Labor Day weekend with food, drinks, fun and fireworks all at Broadway at the Beach!
