Beyond Skin Deep: BODIES HUMAN: Anatomy In Motion Comes To Broadway At The Beach

This season, a new exhibition at Broadway at the Beach will go beyond the surface and will take you deeper than just skin deep.

Now through September 29th, BODIES HUMAN: Anatomy in Motion will be on display in Heroes Harbor. This eye-opening exhibition is comprised of actual real life bodies and organs.

Bodies? Yes. Gruesome? No.

By presenting in an artful, compelling and dignified environment, guests will connect with the human artifacts on a personal level that will help them to better understand their own bodies. The exhibit includes more than 100 specimens including organs and full bodies.

Before this exhibition, one may only be allowed to go "under the skin" to this extent by becoming a doctor or scientist.

How?

The exhibit will showcase specimens preserved through a polymer impregnation process that replaces fluids with polymers that prevent decay and decomposition.

BODIES HUMAN is appropriate for all ages with three supplemental guides available for families, sixth through eighth graders and high school students.

So this summer, you can not only go into the deep blue at Ripley's Aquarium or into the unknown of space at WonderWorks, you can also go further within at the new BODIES HUMAN: Anatomy in Motion at Broadway at the Beach!
