Broadway at the Beach will host its annual Tree Lighting Celebration on November 13. This annual event is free to the public and will feature a variety of holiday-themed live performances and a fireworks extravaganza over Lake Broadway.
The festivities will take place in the Center Court area, next to the Official Broadway at the Beach Guest Services Center, and will begin at 6 p.m. This year's event will include performances by the Socastee High School Singers, Broadway Theater's Hot Jersey Nights Christmas Special, Marla's School of Dance, local musician Shelley Sasser, and singers from Next Level Showcase Productions. In addition, a surprise visitor from the North Pole will help light the tree.
To round out the evening, a fireworks extravaganza will light up the sky over Lake Broadway at 8 p.m.
After the tree lighting and throughout the holiday season, the Broadway at the Beach tree will feature a synchronized music and light show that reoccurs every 30 minutes from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
