Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, S.C., will host the 21st Annual KidzTime Festival on Saturday, March 19, from noon to 4 p.m. This is a family-friendly event open to the public featuring kid-friendly vendors, strolling entertainment and more.
Broadway at the Beach is partnering with Help 4 Kids for the fourth year and during the KidzTime Festival will be accepting donations for their Backpack Buddies program. Attendees of the event are encouraged to bring donations for this local organization helping the kids in our community stay healthy and not hungry. A list of items needed can be found here.
This year's festival will take place outside, with vendors and activities set up along the interior walkways of Broadway at the Beach in designated areas; Center Court (near Build A Bear Workshop), The Avenue (between Hard Rock Café and Dave & Buster's) and Heroes Harbor (near Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville).
A variety of kid-friendly games and activities, giveaways, face painting, character appearances and more are planned for the day. Festivalgoers can take part in a Beach Ball Scavenger Hunt and also enjoy live music from Shelley Sasser in Center Court from noon to 2 p.m., strolling entertainment from Mr. Nigel, noon to 3 p.m., and Over the Moon Productions' costumed stilt walkers and balloon artists strolling, noon to 4 p.m.
